Your First Visit
Please arrive about 10 minutes early to your or your child's appointment so that you have enough time to fill out a New Patient Form. To simplify your visit, you can also fill out our New Patient Form online* prior.
*IMPORTANT: Any form submitted by email must be encrypted, to ensure it is secure. By submitting an unencrypted email form, you are consenting to an unsecured email. Alternatively, please print off the form, complete it, and bring it to our office.
Your dentist will begin by looking over, and discussing your medical and dental history, and completing a thorough dental exam. Your exam will include a careful examination of your gums, teeth, bite, and jaw.
Based on your history and examination, your dentist will establish a long-term dental treatment plan for you. Your dentist will also take the time to answer any questions you have about your dental health and treatment options.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation for Anxious Patients
Anxiety or fear around dental appointments is very common, and it can prevent people from getting the dental care they need. If this sounds like you, don't worry.
As part of Riverside Family Dentistry's services to our patients, we offer dental sedation using nitrous oxide - also called N2O or laughing gas. This sedation service does not make patients unconscious during procedures but does aid in relaxation and calm during appointments.
